In many cases, the instructional design team will review the ticket and ‘Reply All’ so that you know it is being handled. No further actions are required on your part. Scenarios handled by the IDT:

The ticket initially involves faculty

Before replying, check if the ticket was initiated by faculty or that it shows a history of contact between a faculty and someone from Blackboard.

Student reports they already contacted faculty and was re-directed to Blackboard

Multiple students have contacted Bb about a similar issue in a single course

When you notice that several students from the same course has been contacting Bb Help, an ID might check the course and contact faculty.

The issue pertains to platforms integrated into Blackboard such as e-books, Pearson, Cengage
