UH Blackboard and FDIS regularly forwards issues from the Blackboard help desk to the office instructional design team (IDT) at It is our policy to work directly with faculty only, but most of the tickets we receive are from students. We do not contact students directly, but notify faculty instead.

One of your duties will be to carefully read and filter the help tickets and take one of the following steps:

1. Leave the ticket alone or check with CLASS IDT.

2. Contact the instructor to resolve the issue.
